A Love Story from New York to Oahu | Mei & Pei’s Wedding Celebration
When I first connected with Mei and Pei months ago on a phone call, I instantly knew they were going to be a joy to work with for their upcoming wedding in Hawaii. They live in New York where I grew up and so it felt extra special to meet a couple from my hometown roots. From that very first conversation, I could already tell this was going to be an unforgettable celebration to capture.
As the big day drew closer, we hopped on another call to catch up, share ideas, and build even more excitement for their wedding. By the time their Oahu destination wedding arrived, the energy and love surrounding them were truly heartwarming.
From the start, every moment was full of meaning. We documented the intricate details, the beautiful tea ceremony, and a heartfelt wedding ceremony. One of the most memorable highlights was during the reception where Mei made her grand entrance down the aisle while Pei played a moving song for her on the clarinet. Their first dance was equally breathtaking, an elegant performance filled with grace, connection, and pure romance.
Mei and Pei are such a sweet, genuine couple, and my team and I feel incredibly grateful to have been part of their story. Capturing their destination wedding on Oahu was not only a privilege but also a reminder of why I love preserving these once-in-a-lifetime memories for couples who travel to Hawaii to celebrate their love.
